A Republican with Independence Fighting for Mid-Michigan’s Future

I’m Chadwick Twillman, a Business-man, truth-telling, family-raising mid-Michigan dad, running to give us back our voice, fund our schools, fix our roads, reform our courts, and free our bridges. I’m not here for party games; I’m here for you, the people.

From Texas to Mid-Michigan, a Life on the Road

I was born in Amarillo, Texas, raised in Mesa, Arizona, and found my home in mid-Michigan, where I’ve built my life, my business, and my family. As a truck driver for nearly four years, I crisscrossed this beautiful country, hauling loads and learning lessons. I saw America’s promise, its open roads, hardworking towns like Saginaw, and vibrant communities like Bay City. But I also saw its struggles: crumbling infrastructure, underfunded schools, and a government forgetting the people it serves. Now, I’m the executive director of a financial firm and VP of The Mountain Mover’s Firm in Saginaw, but my heart’s in Bay City, where I’m raising five beautiful children with my incredible wife. Last November, I delivered our fifth child in the safety of our home, right here in the 35th District. Mid-Michigan’s not just my address... it’s my mission. I’ve dodged potholes on M-25, paid tolls on Bay City’s bridges, and fought for my kids’ future. I’m one of you, and I’m tired of Lansing ignoring us.

A Fighter Forged by Fire

I’m a dad who’s stood toe-to-toe with the establishment and won. At 13, I joined the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps, serving under John McCain, who I once thought was a hero. Through grueling trainings, I rose to Petty Officer 3rd Class by 18, I would have held that rank going into the NAVY skipping the enlistment ranks. Those years built my backbone, patriotism, patience, resilience, discipline. But they also opened my eyes: politicians sending good men to die for greed, not freedom. I chose a different fight, holding the line here, raising a family, and defending our God-given rights. When my first son was born, hospital staff demanded we inject him with antibiotics against our wishes. They bullied me for days, threatening CPS, trying to break me with scare tactics. I stood strong. Demanding tests, not shots, and cried tears of relief when his bloodwork proved he was healthy. After that, my wife and I birthed our next four kids our way—one in a birthing center, three delivered by me at home. I’ve fought Big Medicine, and I’ll fight Big Government too.

During Trump’s first term, I saw trusted faces reveal their lies, fueled by the mockingbird media. I joined the frontlines, launching Liberty Report, a journalism platform to combat disinformation with truth. I shared conversations with giants like General Michael Flynn, who taught me: “Local action equals national impact.” I took that to heart, traveling the country, spending every cent I had to spread solutions, not just complaints. During COVID, my wife was fired for refusing mask mandates—we stood firm, never bowing to fraudulent scare tactics. On January 6th, I marched in D.C. to support President Trump’s call for our voices to be heard, witnessing election fraud firsthand. I’ve seen communism and evil in our government and I’ve fought it. Now, I’m running for Senate in the 35th because I believe nobody will fight harder for my kids and yours, than me.

Qualified, Tested, and Ready

I’m not a politician, I’m a doer. As a truck driver, I’ve seen America’s roads, from Saginaw’s potholes to Bay City’s toll traps. As a financial executive, I’ve led teams, created jobs, and moved mountains at The Mountain Mover’s Firm. As a journalist, I’ve exposed lies and shared truths, from coast to coast. I’ve lived our challenges, paying $5.50 to cross a closed bridge, watching my kids’ teachers quit, navigating court delays. I’ve stood up to hospital bullies, media liars, and government overreach. I’m a Republican, but independent at heart, self-funded, answering to God and the people, not party bosses. I’ll work with Dems on schools, GOP on roads, and anyone who’ll fight for mid-Michigan. I’m not here to play party games, I’m here to deliver.

Anti-Establishment, Pro-Mid-Michigan

I’m running because mid-Michigan’s been betrayed. The establishment—GOP and Dems left us voiceless, over 60 days and counting without a senator. They let Bay City’s tolls double overnight, leaving us to pay $5.50 for a closed bridge. They’ve stalled our schools, leaving Saginaw kids without teachers and Bay County without counselors. They’ve failed our roads, letting potholes wreck our cars and flood scars linger in Midland. They’ve ignored our courts, letting backlogs trap families and kids fall into jail, not justice. Enough! I reject the establishment, parties failed us, and I’ve seen them rollover on accountability. I’m a GOP-independent who’ll cross lines for change, no political strings, no party funding, just people power.

I’ll force a special election and pass a 60-day vacancy law, our voice won’t wait. I’ll bring $50M for our schools, teachers, trades, mental health, so our youth thrive, not struggle. I’ll secure $100M to fix our roads, sidewalks, and flood zones, local jobs, no tolls, so we drive safe and walk proud. I’ll reform our courts, clear backlogs, hold judges accountable, save kids from jail, so justice serves us, not hides. And I’ll free our bridges, cap tolls at $1, end BCBP’s deal, fund fixes right, so our rivers unite us, not divide. I’m not here for party bosses, I’m here for you, the people. Your voice, not mine, will guide my vote on every law.

A Future for the 35th, Built by Us

My vision is a future where our kids thrive in funded schools, our roads are safe for every drive, our courts deliver justice for every family, and our bridges are free for every crossing. I’m fair, hardworking, and community-first—a dad who’s fought for his kids and will fight for yours. I believe local action equals national impact, and I’ll prove it in the 35th. Join me—volunteer, donate, vote May 28. Together, we’ll rebuild trust, restore control, and win a #FutureForThe35th—because if it’s best for my kids, it’s best for yours.
